The 15% citric acid solution is effective against limescale, without having the unpleasant and pungent smell that conventional anti-limescale or descaling products for the bathroom have. It will be easier to wash and descale surfaces without having to breathe in unpleasant vapours. It is a weak acid which must in any case be handled with due precautions, avoiding contact with the eyes and mucous membranes. How to use: Preparation of 15% solution: dissolve 150 g of Citric Acid in 1 liter of water. In the presence of a slight sediment, leave it to settle or filter. Anti-limescale: apply the solution to eliminate limescale deposits (bathroom, shower cubicle, taps, kitchen). Leave to act for a few minutes and rinse. In the washing machine as a descaler: every month, pour 150 g of Citric Acid directly into the empty drum and start a high temperature program (at least 50 degrees) without prewashing. In the washing machine as a softener: pour 100 ml of the solution into the softener compartment. In the dishwasher as a rinse aid: fill the rinse aid dispenser with the 15% solution and set the indicator to maximum.
