The Mooncup is the original reusable menstrual cup, made of soft medical silicone. It fits internally, much lower than a tampon. But while tampons and pads absorb menstrual flow, the Mooncup collects it. In this way it does not cause dryness or irritation: it does not absorb the vaginal mucosa, preserving its natural defences. This will allow you to save money and protect the environment. How to use the Menstrual Cup? While many people get used to the Mooncup on their first try, on average it can take up to three cycles to get used to. Remember, your reusable menstrual cup should last for many years. Once you try it, you'll never want to go back to pads! Instructions: Always wash your hands, as you would when removing tampons, before inserting and removing your Mooncup®. C-fold Monncup. To insert: open the labia majora and insert the cup comfortably into the vagina as low as possible (much lower than a tampon). As soon as you leave it, it will return to its original form.
