DISPOSABLE ECO DIAPERS

It's special for the environment because it's the first certified compostable disposable nappy: after removing the closure flaps, it can be disposed of in wet waste (checking the waste disposal rules of your municipality). Even if disposed of in non-recyclable waste, this diaper biodegrades naturally very quickly without producing pollutants. Compostability has been certified by Certiquality thanks to passing four tests (biodegradability, disintegrability, ecotoxicity, absence of heavy metals), as required by the UNI EN 13432:2002 standard. – It is special for the skin because it lets the baby's skin breathe naturally. The Naturaè® diaper protects against irritation and redness because there are no synthetic materials in direct contact with the skin, but only materials of vegetable origin, without chemical additives, without chlorine, without phthalates, without perfumes and without inks. As a result, the use of soothing creams will no longer be necessary. Make an ECO…LOGICAL choice too! • Starch fibers in PLA (polylactic acid) instead of plastic, in the parts in direct contact with the skin. PLA is a bioplastic derived from renewable sources such as corn, wheat or beetroot, rich in natural sugar. The production cycle is based on the fermentation of sugars which are transformed into polymers, from which textile fibers are obtained as an alternative to synthetic ones derived from petroleum, of which they retain their performance in terms of structure and softness. Thanks to this material used in the layers in contact with the skin, the Naturaè diaper naturally counteracts irritation and redness, promoting perspiration and eliminating the tendency to accumulate heat, so as to keep the skin cool. • Super absorbent BIO SAP, in the absorbent part of the diaper. It is an innovative super absorbent of vegetable origin, which has the function of absorbing the fluids inside the pad. Its use increases the naturalness of the Naturaè nappy, helping to guarantee its biodegradability and compostability. • Layer of sanitized TCF cellulose in the absorbent part of the diaper. The cellulose used in the Naturaè diaper pad comes from forests cultivated with sustainability criteria (PEFC) and is sanitized to reduce the bacterial content without the use of chlorine (Totally Chlorine Free). • Transpiring and natural bioplastic, in external protective films and packaging: It is a bioplastic whose essential components are corn starch and vegetable oils, not genetically modified and grown in Europe with traditional agricultural practices. It is workable with the same technologies as traditional plastics and with similar productivity, but makes the Natura diaper completely biodegradable and compostable, naturally breathable, hypoallergenic and non-toxic. NORDIC ECO LABEL CERTIFICATION (SWAN) The Nordic Ecolabel certification certifies that Naturaè® products have been made with the utmost respect for the environment in terms of quality, performance and functionality of both the eco-diaper and the production plant. The Nordic Ecolabel certification was introduced in 1989 by the Nordic Council of Ministers and aims to protect the environment and limit the negative effects on the climate caused by pollution. Today it is also recognized and appreciated internationally. DERMATOLOGICALLY TESTED BY THE UNIVERSITY OF FERRARA Following numerous cosmetological tests, Naturaè® diapers have been dermatologically certified by the laboratories of the University of Ferrara. The dermatologically tested products do not contain any substance which is prohibited for use in cosmetic and body hygiene products (EEC legislation) and do not irritate the skin. VEGAN OK CERTIFICATION In compliance with the Vegan OK certification, no substance present in Naturaè® products is of animal origin or directly and voluntarily involves the killing, keeping or exploitation of animals. Vegan OK is the first Italian certification for vegan products. It was created to encourage the diffusion of a culture of respect for life and the environment also in favor of non-vegan or vegetarian people, as these values can and must be the common heritage of all.
