Before use: Thiersties hemp products must be washed and dried at least three times before use to rid the fibers of natural oils. This is done separately from other diaper products for the first 3 washes. Our hemp products will be fully primed and at peak absorbency after 8 wash cycles.

At each wash cycle:

-Prewash on warm

-Wash warm

-Add another rinse on warm.

-You can hang the prefolds to dry or dry them in the dryer. If the diapers feel stiff after line drying, you can throw them in the dryer on medium heat with a few wool balls to loosen them up.

Important notes:

Use enough water to soak and cover the diaper items and allow them to agitate.

Please avoid the following practices and/or additives which may void the warranty on Thirsties products:

Sanitization or white cycles on HE machines

Pure soap

Routine use of bleach

These practices and/or additives may void the warranty on 30-year-old products.
