The revolutionary design of the Prefold Thiersties in Hemp is easy to clean, Quick to dry and grows with your child! Made of soft hemp jersey custom knitted in the USA 2 layers in each panel provide 12 thirsty layers of hemp cotton when folded into three layers 55% hemp, 45% organic cotton 25% more absorbent and much more durable than pure cotton Maintains a comfortable and finished fit Usage and Care Before use: Thiersties hemp products must be washed and dried at least three times before use to rid the fibers of natural oils. This is done separately from other diaper products for the first 3 washes. Our hemp products will be fully primed and at peak absorbency after 8 wash cycles. At each wash cycle: -Prewash on warm -Wash warm -Add another rinse on warm. -You can hang the prefolds to dry or dry them in the dryer. If the diapers feel stiff after line drying, you can throw them in the dryer on medium heat with a few wool balls to loosen them up. Important notes: Use enough water to soak and cover the diaper items and allow them to agitate. Please avoid the following practices and/or additives which may void the warranty on Thirsties products: Sanitization or white cycles on HE machines Pure soap Routine use of bleach These practices and/or additives may void the warranty on 30-year-old products.
