Prefolds can easily be used within a cover. folding in threes or wrapping with fabric is easy and reliable. Avo & Cado prefolds consist of several layers of cotton sewn together, which are divided into three parts that easily fold over each other and can be easily unfolded to dry. Avo & Cado prefolds are specially made for AVO&CADO covers and are slightly shorter than classic prefolds. For very wet babies or if extra absorbency is needed, we recommend placing any booster in the prefold or underneath. New and unwashed, the prefolds are very smooth and flat, but after the first wash they become softer and more absorbent and their structure also changes. Before first use, you should wash your prefolds at least twice at 60 degrees so that the fibers can be cleaned of their natural oils and thus retain their absorbency. Only after ten washes did the Prefolds reach their full absorbency. The first wash should be done without other diapers, so that the oils that are washed out of the fabric don't settle on other diapers.
