Their dimensions (18 cm x 28 cm), larger than the usual disposable napkins, make them much safer against any sticky or solid stool losses: just place them correctly horizontally on the nappy, in contact with the baby's skin . Their composition allows liquids to pass, capturing the solid part. They can be flushed down the toilet and, once the faeces have been removed, these inserts can be disposed of with household waste or in compost (the cellulose is in fact purely vegetable, therefore completely biodegradable).
