Extraction method: obtained by cold extraction from the seeds of Prunus amygdalus var. dulcis L. Indications: can be used for all skin types. Helps relieve itching and dry skin. Commonly used as a useful remedy for dry and irritated skin and also in case of sunburn. Very lubricating but not very penetrating, which makes it a good massage and protective oil, which can also be used pure. Characteristics: it is usually light yellow in colour, clear, with a slight nutty odor and medium viscosity. It is rich in triglycerides, especially triolein and dioleolinolein, in unsaturated fatty acids such as oleic, linoleic and palmitoleic acids and smaller quantities of saturated fatty acids such as palmitic, stearic, lauric and myristic acids. This sweet almond oil is COSMOS NATURAL certified, it is obtained by cold pressing, without the addition of chemical elements, with 100% organic sweet almond oil from Italy. It lends itself to various uses. To clean the baby's body, pour a few drops of the product onto gauze or a cotton pad and gently cleanse the baby's skin, paying particular attention to skin folds. For the massage of the newborn, after bathing, pour a few drops of the product into the palm of the hand to bring the oil to body temperature; apply to the baby's still damp skin and proceed to massage with delicate circular movements. To soften the scalp, pour a few drops of the product onto a gauze or cotton pad, ideal for dabbing the cradle cap of infants due to its moisturizing properties. For the treatment of dry skin, add a few drops of the product to the bath water or proceed with a massage all over the body by applying a few drops of oil to the still damp skin after a bath or shower. It is also a valid ally during pregnancy: the moisturizing action of the fatty acids extracted from sweet almonds helps to avoid the appearance of stretch marks during and after pregnancy.
