Extraction method: obtained by cold extraction from the seeds of Prunus amygdalus var. dulcis L. Indications: can be used for all skin types. Helps relieve itching and dry skin. Commonly used as a useful remedy for dry and irritated skin and also in case of sunburn. Very lubricating but not very penetrating, which makes it a good massage and protective oil, which can also be used pure. Characteristics: it is usually light yellow in colour, clear, with a slight nutty odor and medium viscosity. It is rich in triglycerides, especially triolein and dioleolinolein, in unsaturated fatty acids such as oleic, linoleic and palmitoleic acids and smaller quantities of saturated fatty acids such as palmitic, stearic, lauric and myristic acids. It also contains variable percentages of vitamins A and E.
