They are made with a total of 7 layers of bamboo cotton (3 in the nappy and 4 in the insert which is conveniently secured with 2 snaps) - when paired with a cover they will be 100% leak proof. This size (new born) is designed for newborns from 0 to 3 months (approximately from 2 to 6 kg). To adapt perfectly to your newborn little one, in the front they are equipped with two central snap buttons, which lower the hem of the diaper under any stump of the cord still present.
