Avo&Cado Lanolin is 100% pure: it is therefore totally free of pesticides. and of water. This “water repellent wool wax” (adeps lanae anhydricus) is used to make wool covers waterproof. Procedure: wash the cover in the washing machine at 30 degrees with a wool/delicate program. Pat dry with a towel and lay flat. To lanolise, use half a spoonful of the product: dissolve it in a cup with boiling water and 3 drops of delicate baby shampoo. Mix well to melt the wax. Now immerse the cover in a basin of hot water (about 2 litres) and add the solution. Leave to soak for 30 minutes and then machine wash on a delicate/wool programme. Again dab with a towel and dry horizontally. Wool covers can be washed/lanolized every 3 weeks. Warning: if it is dirty with poop or soaked in pee, it must be washed. For colored wool, it is recommended to carry out the procedure separately.

The Marseille soap flakes Sapone di un Tempo are handmade and aged. They are a natural washing detergent for all white and colored garments, even delicate ones, both by hand and in the washing machine. Flake soap can also be used as an additive to increase the effectiveness of the detergent in case of very dirty clothes. Instructions for use By hand: dilute about 30 grams of flakes (a full kitchen spoon) for every 5 liters of water. In the washing machine: put about 60 grams of soap flakes (two heaped kitchen spoons) directly into the washing machine drum. With soap flakes you can also make excellent liquid detergents for both the home and the body. Liquid laundry: dissolve about 150 grams (4-5 kitchen spoons) in 2 liters of hot water. Use the liquid detergent thus obtained in the washing machine compartment (100 ml for each wash). Multi-purpose degreaser: dissolve about 2 tablespoons of soap flakes in a liter of hot water and use with a vaporizer to clean all surfaces. Liquid hand and body soap: dissolve 2-3 tablespoons every 500 ml. of hot water. Shower glove: insert the soap flakes into a shower glove to obtain a soapy glove for the bathroom.

Disana lanolin is a specific maintenance treatment for delicate garments. Organic wool is naturally impregnated with lanolin, a substance with antibacterial and waterproofing power. The lanolin decreases with the use of the garment, the washings and the drying; it is therefore necessary to restore it from time to time. The presence of lanolin, for example, is the reason why Disana wool nappy covers are waterproof, or why wool and wool/silk garments are so soft to the touch and thermoregulatory. The Disana lanolin treatment is natural and not tested on animals, respects the most delicate skins and does not contain perfumes. Use: dissolve 2 tablespoons of lanolin in 1 liter of warm water (max 25°C). In the case of wool diaper covers, leave to soak overnight; for the other garments a couple of hours are sufficient. Remove excess water by wrapping the garment in a towel and patting dry. Spread lying down, away from heat sources or direct sunlight.

Bile Disana soap was created to remove stains and odors from washable diapers, of any fabric. It is also suitable for removing all the stains for which bleach is commonly used: blood, fat, grass or fruit stains. Use: pour a small amount of product on the stain and leave it to act for a few minutes; if the fabric allows it, rub lightly. Rinse and proceed with normal washing. For colored fabrics, check the color fastness. Keep out of reach of children.
