Organic cotton contains many natural oils that need to be rinsed out during washing for the fabric to acquire the desired absorbency (5-6 washes). Useful to achieve absorption is a long soak in warm water with dishwashing liquid with a simple composition between washings and washing at a high temperature (60 degrees).
