They are made up of 4 layers: 2 layers of microfibre and two layers made of 55% hemp and 45% cotton. Hemp and cotton can contain larger quantities of liquid than microfiber but absorb more slowly and could cause lateral leakage if used alone and if the child pees a lot. In combination with the microfibre, which quickly absorbs moisture keeping the baby's skin dry, they are perfect: no leaks and extra absorbency!
